Dave Pearce has been a driving force in the UK Dance Scene for many years. Known for his uplifting energetic “Big Room Anthemic Trance “and “Dance Anthems” sets which feature many of the classics he helped break through his legendary Dance Anthems Radio 1 show, his Ibiza residencies and of course his iconic Nulife record label.
Known by many as the “King of UK Trance Anthems”, Dave has sold over 1 million compilation CDs, achieving Gold Sales on albums for Ministry Of Sound, Universal and BMG, including Transcendental Euphoria, Dave Pearce Dance Anthems and Dave Pearce Trance Anthems.
Still at the top of his game Dave kicked off 2024 with two albums in the Top Ten on the Official UK Dance Album chart. His Trance Anthems album has been one of the longest selling albums in the UK Top Ten Dance Chart over the past 5 years with a whopping 301 weeks in the Top Ten . January 2024 saw his Delirium Trance Podcast ranked as No 1 in the world on the Mixcloud Global Uplifting Trance Chart. This year Dave embarks on another huge UK Tour including headlining mainstage sets at numerous festivals and appearances at many top UK Club Events , he will also be returning for dates in Ibiza and Malta. Last year he played at Ibiza superclubs Amnesia, Eden and Ibiza Rocks with additional European shows in Tenerife and Corfu.
Dave has DJ’d at major festivals and clubbing destinations across the world including London, Ibiza, Athens, Bahrain, Dubai, Mumbai, Doha. He has played all the major UK Dance Festivals including Creamfields, Gatecrasher Summer Sound System, Godskitchen Global Gathering, Coloursfest, Planet Love, and numerous UK Music Festivals including Knebworth Cool Britannia, Manchester Pride, Restricted Forest, 90’s fest, Back2Fest, Carfest and many more. He has featured in the acclaimed DJ magazine “Top 100 DJS In The World Poll “ three times. He has held
club residencies in Ibiza, Mallorca, Tenerife and the Greek Islands as well as UK clubs including Ministry Of Sound in London
Dave has DJ”d alongside some of Dance music’s biggest names including Faithless, Fatboy Slim, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk , Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Sasha, Laidback Luke, Nicky Romero and many more.
Dave first came to national prominence in the mid 90’s creating the cult BBC Radio 1 show “Dance Anthems” which he presented for 13 years attracting record audiences of millions of listeners and the third highest audience reach on the station, for many years he also hosted the Radio 1.
Drivetime show with over 4 million listeners a day. Previously he presented the Breakfast show on London’s KISS FM He has also presented numerous Dance TV Shows including the ITV1 clubbing series “Dance Years” MTV Dancefloor Chart, MTV Top 100 Dance Anthems and shows on Chartshow TV, The Box and Clubland TV. Recently he presented a Dance Documentary on SKY TV with Paul Oakenfold and Goldie. He has also made numerous shows and specials for BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2 , UK commercial radio and even BBC Radio 4.
Before all that back in the 80’s he played a major part in the emerging UK Club and Dance scene He created the BBC’s first Hip Hop Show A Fresh Start To The Week – he is featured on the iconic Public Enemy album “It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back- he became the A&R director of Urban Records and signed the UK’s biggest selling Acid House album – Urban Acid and iconic house track Jimi Polo – Better Days . He worked on the BBC’s first Dance Music show on BBC 2 – Behind the beat – He was one of the first BBC DJs to play House music weekly on his BBC Radio London shows.
Dave has also been responsible for signing numerous Top Ten hit anthems through his Nulife record label including the platinum selling “Ian Van Dahl- Castles in the Sky” and the UK no 1 hit “Rui Da Silva – Touch Me”. He was also responsible for delivering the first hits for Above and Beyond under their alias Oceanlab with their Trance Anthem “Satellite" And Hit records including Love Inc- You’re a superstar, Lou Reed vs Groovefinder – Satellite of love, Warp Brothers – Phat Bass and even True Steppers feat Victoria Beckham- Out Of Your Mind
In addition to Djing extensively Dave has made various tracks. His debut release on his own Delirium label “So Damn Beautiful“ reached no 2 in the Beatport Worldwide Trance Chart and UK Top 20 Cool Cuts Chart following it’s worldwide premiere on Armin Van Buuren’s show – A state Of Trance (With heavy support from the likes of Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, and Paul Oakenfold).
During lockdown Dave’s Sunday night Trance Anthems live streams attracted audiences of hundreds of thousands and now Dave presents his stream weekly on the HomeRaveTv pay per view channel on Sunday nights at 7pm.
